Ocean Days at Nixon Park brings the shore to York from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 22, and 12:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 23. This family-friendly event will feature hands-on crafts, activity tables, and touch tanks for children to explore in the Nature Center. Activities and programs are scheduled throughout the weekend. The 2014 York-Adams League spring sports season is scheduled to swing into full gear on Friday. Nearly 40 scholastic events are slated.

The York-Adams League Senior All-Star Basketball Games are scheduled for Sunday afternoon at Northeastern High School. The girls' game is set for 2 p.m., followed by the boys' game at 4 p.m.

The York Mighty Ants have an Eastern Basketball Alliance game at 2 p.m. Sunday at New Hope Academy Charter School. The Ants are slated to take on the Metrowest Ballas.
