The Springetts Fire Station auction off items on Monday.

Doors at the 3013 E. Market St. station in Springettsbury Township, open at 8 a.m. with bidding getting underway at 10 a.m., said Don Eckert, president of the township's volunteer fire department and captain of its fire police.

Items up for grabs range from gear lockers to weight lifting machines to a vintage Coca-Cola cooler chest that might need some work to get it in working order, he said.

But don't expect to find much in the way of fire-fighting memorabilia, Eckert said.

The auction comes on the heels of York Area Regioanal Fire And Rescue moving from the station to its new one at 50 Commons Drive in the township on Wednesday.
