Eastern York High School graduate Kate Dellinger has been picked a Women's Basketball Coaches Association Honorable Mention All-American for the second straight year.

Dellinger is a senior guard at Widener University.

It's just another award to what is already a crowded trophy case. Among her individual accomplishments, she was named first team All-Commonwealth Conference for the third straight year, second team Capital One CoSIDA Academic All-America for the second consecutive year, a finalist for the Jostens Trophy as the nation's premier player, first team ECAC All-South Region, first team All-Mid Atlantic Region and fourth team preseason All-America.

Dellinger was eighth in the conference with 11.8 points per game, fourth with 9.2 rebounds per contest, seventh with 2.0 steals per game and fourth with 32.7 minutes played per contest. She was named to two all-tournament teams and led the squad with 12 double-doubles.

Dellinger ends her run sixth in school history with 1,255 points and fourth with 759 rebounds. She helped Widener to a 24-6 season as a senior, which included a berth in the "Elite Eight" of the NCAA Division III Tournament.
