Two York College track and field athletes have been honored by the Capital Athletic Conference after strong efforts at the Bucknell Open on Saturday.

Senior Tim Hartung earned the CAC Men's Indoor Athlete of the Week honor. Hartung set a new school record in the 3,000-meter run. He crossed the line in a time of 8:29.52. He also competed in the 5,000 meter run and finished second in his section with a time of 15:57.06.

Sophomore Bethany Miller, a York Suburban graduate, was named the CAC Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week. For the second time in three weeks, Miller set a new school record in the pole vault. After setting the record at 10 feet recently, Miller broke that record with a best vault of 10-4, placing 16th at Bucknell.
