Central York High School graduate Megan Lundy was named the 2013 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Women's Indoor Track Freshman of the Year on Monday morning.

Mundy won an individual conference championship in the 400 meters and ran at the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships in the distance medley relay for Shippensburg University.

Lundy won the 400 meters at her debut PSAC indoor championships meet with an impressive time of 57.38 seconds that narrowly missed qualifying her as an individual at the NCAA Division II championships. She also anchored the 4x400-meter relay that placed second in 3:56.57 and finished 11th in the 200 meters.

At the Armory Invitational in February, Lundy ran the anchor leg of a 4x200-meter relay squad that broke the school record in 1:43.78. She still earned the right to run at nationals, only as a part of the distance medley relay.
