Bair's Fried Chicken in Central Market, 34 W. Philadelphia St., York, is accepting nominations for amazing teachers through Wednesday, April 2. Nomination forms are available online at www.bairsfriedchicken.com.

The voting will take place during First Friday, 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 4, at the Central Market stand. Everyone who votes will get two free fountain drinks with the purchase of a family meal.

The teacher who receives the most votes will win a Bair's Fried Chicken gift basket filled with gift certificates from a variety of merchants.

The Susquehanna Ale Trail's third annual Passport Event features two weekends of tours and craft beer tastings at nine regional breweries.

One $15 ticket gets beer lovers the tours, the tastings (at least three per stop), a souvenir mug and a discount on purchases at the breweries. This year's passport includes access to Bube's Brewery, Gunpowder Falls Brewing, Lancaster Brewing Co., Liquid Hero Brewery, Mudhook Brewing Co., Rumspringa Brewing Co., Swashbuckler Brewing Co., Tröegs Brewing Co. and Warehouse Gourmet Bistro & Brew Pub.

The passport is good April 4-6 and 11-13. Hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Fridays, noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays.
