Rebecca Shives, librarian at the Village Library in Jacobus, has announced June events for children. The library is located at 35-C N. Main St. For more information, call (717) 428-1034.

* Animals that Dig, 10:30 a.m. Wednesday: Learn about animals that dig with the York County Parks Department. This program will be fun for the whole family.

* Tracking Dinosaurs, 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 19: See fossilized dinosaur parts including some local examples. Children will not only enjoy the "show and tell" of fossils, but will have fun identifying dinosaur "poop." Also, children will assist in showing folks how dinosaurs walked and what we can tell about them just from their footprints. Finally, a mock dinosaur trackway will be set up so junior geologists can tell the story of what happened there. All children will receive a fossil to take home.

* Worm Races, 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 26: Join Miss Laura for the first Village Library Worm Races. BYOW (bring your own worm) or try one of Miss Laura's. Location to be announced.
