More than 300 items from TV and movie stars, athletes and authors will go up for bid Sunday for the 17th annual Celebrity Auction at Martin Library, 159 E. Market St.

Mementos from authors, politicians, and entertainers are among the many offerings. Participants are invited to preview the items at noon and register for the bidding at 1 p.m. in the library's Quiet Reading Room.

Professional auctioneer Gary Gladfelter will direct the bidding for the wide range of items, including an NFL football signed by Hall of Famer Marty Lyons, a Harley-Davidson book signed by the founder's grandson Willie G., and a signed limited anniversary edition of "The Exorcist."
