Two more York-Adams League athletes have committed to NCAA Division I schools next season.

Northeastern senior Becca Gross has signed her letter of intent to compete for the Rutgers University diving team.

Kennard-Dale senior Nicole Black has decided to play women's lacrosse at LaSalle University in Philadelphia.

Gross is a two-time defending York-Adams League diving champion. At the District 3-AA level, she finished second in 2012 and third in 2011. In PIAA AA state competition, she took third in 2011 and sixth in 2012. She holds Northeastern school records for both six dives and 11 dives.

Rutgers, located in New Brunswick, N.J., announced on Tuesday that it will soon leave the Big East and join the Big Ten.

Black, meanwhile, was named the 2012 York-Adams League Player of the Year, helping the Rams win the York-Adams League Division II and York-Adams League Tournament titles. She's also a two-time York-Adams League First Team All-Star.

For her career, she's compiled 153 goals and 203 assists.

Three York-Adams basketball players also committed to NCAA Division I schools in the last week. Red Lion's Jen Horvatinovic will play for Monmouth, Northeastern's Khalid Nwandu is headed to Mount St. Mary's and K-D's Sara Tarbert will go to Maryland-Baltimore County.

Another K-D girls' lacrosse player, Taylor Davis, has signed a letter of intent to play for Millersville University, an NCAA Division II school in Lancaster County.

Davis was a York-Adams League First-Team All-Star the last two years. She has 62 goals and 20 assists for her career.
