Penn State York fell in penalty kicks on Thursday afternoon in a Penn State University Athletic Conference semifinal playoff game against Penn State Beaver.

The game was tied after regulation during a cold, windy day in York. The teams played two overtime periods, with neither team able to find the back of the net.

That forced the game into penalty kicks, where Beaver earned a 4-2 edge to get the victory.

PSY came into the game seeded No. 1 in the tournament, while Beaver was seeded No. 5.

Trey Chilcoat scored both PSY goals, while Jon Taylor and Dabeet Sharma provided assists.

Beaver advances to the PSUAC title game against third-seeded Penn State Brandywine, which is set for noon Sunday at Penn State's main campus. Brandywine beat No. 2 seed Penn College, 2-0, on Thursday.

PSY finished the season at 11-6 overall. Beaver improved to 8-11-1.
