York College men's track-and-field standouts Tim Hartung and Robert Doster have earned berths in the 2014 NCAA Division III National Championship Meet in Delaware, Ohio, starting on Thursday.

Hartung is making a return to the championships after earning All-America honors last spring in the 10,000-meter run in Lacrosse, Wisc. Hartung has qualified to compete in the 5K and the 10K at this year's championships. Doster earned his berth in the championships in the javelin.

Hartung earned All-America honors last spring by finishing seventh in the 10K with a time of 30 minutes, 9.20 seconds. He also competed in the 5K two days later and placed 19th in 14:59.74.

Hartung qualified 12th in the country for the 5K with a time of 14:21.59 at the Larry Ellis Invitational at Princeton University.

In the 10K, the Spartans' five-time All-American qualified 11th with a time of 30:15.30, set at the Penn Relays on April 24.

Doster is making his first appearance at nationals after he qualified 13th in the country with a best throw of 60.60 meters at the Millersville Metrics meet on April 5.

Hartung will compete on Thursday in the 10K. That event is scheduled for an 8:10 a.m. start. The senior will conclude his career on Saturday, when he competes in the 5K at 5:05 p.m. Doster will see action on Saturday as well, when the javelin is scheduled for a 3 p.m. start.
