Amy Kennedy and Connie Shorb are again the top two seeds heading into the 2014 Women's York County Amateur Golf Association Championship.

The match-play event is scheduled for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week at Grandview Golf Club.

Kennedy is the top seed with 1.5 handicap index, while Shorb is seeded second with a 3.6 handicap.

Shorb defeated Kennedy in the final of last year's tournament, 1-up. That gave Shorb her 31st WYCAGA crown. Kennedy has won five WYCAGA titles since 2005. Shorb and Kennedy also met in the 2012 final, with Kennedy earning a 2 & 1 victory.

The No. 3 seed will be Hanover Country Club's Karen Miller (8.1), followed by Grandview's Amy Golden (9.7), Regents' Glen's Kristie Hamp (10.0), Grandview's Diane Heilman (10.1), Range End's Paula Bauer (11.1) and Honey Run's Tally Leeper (11.3). The first-round pairings are Kennedy vs. Leeper, Golden vs. Hamp, Shorb vs. Bauer and Miller vs. Heilman.

The semifinals are set for Tuesday, with the finals on Wednesday.

The First Flight pairings are: Out Door's Lynn Newcomer (12.3) vs. Range End's Kelly Farrell (18.0), Bon Air's Donna Ensor (16.2) vs. Out Door's Mary Bobst (16.4), Grandview's Tracey Knouse (13.5) vs. Out Door's Bev Miller (17.7) and Country Club of York's Fran Johnson (14.8) vs. Valley Green's Carol Enders (16.6).


The Second Flight includes Grandview's Sandy Spangler (19.0), Bon Air's Betty Winter (21.7) and Country Club of York's Pat Blanchard (32.0).
