Daryn Pittman won the 35-lap World of Outlaws sprint-car feature at Lincoln Speedway on Thursday evening.

Pittman collected $10,000 for his 10th Outlaw triumph of the season.

Pittman started from the pole position and led every lap, but had to fend off a strong late-race challenge from 15th-place starter Brian Montieth.

Lincoln point leader Alan Krimes finished third, with Joey Saldana and Danny Dietrich in the top five.

Rounding out the top 10 were David Gravel, Brent Marks, Jim Sigel, York's Cory Haas and Brad Sweet.

Pittman also won the dash and the first heat. The other heat winners were J.J. Grasso, Steve Kinser and Jim Siegel. Saldana set quick time.

The Outlaws now move on to Williams Grove Speedway for the Summer Nationals on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Saturday's winner will earn $20,000.

On Tuesday at Lernerville Speedway in western Pennsylvania, Donny Schatz won the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup after battling Kerry Madsen to win the first feature and finishing seventh in the second, taking the KSE Hard Charger Award. Cody Darrah won the second feature, scoring his second victory of the season.
