York Catholic High School graduate Tara Yohe has received an Honorable Mention Scholar All-America designation by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

The Red Lion resident is junior member of the Shippensburg University swim team.

The CSCAA Scholar All-America Honorable Mention awards are handed out to individuals who have achieved a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher for the spring 2014 semester, or as a cumulative average, and who also achieved a NCAA "B" time standard but did not compete in the NCAA Division II Championships.

Yohe contributed to a pair of top-five relays at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championships that achieved NCAA "B" cuts. She swam on the 200 freestyle relay that placed third and the 400 freestyle relay that placed fifth, in addition to forming one leg of SU's 200 medley relay. Individually, she competed in the 200-, 500- and 1,000-yard freestyle events and the 200 butterfly at the PSAC Championships.
