A Pittsburgh man wanted in the robbery of the Giant Food Store in West York was taken into custody by the Green Tree Police Department in Pittsburgh Thursday morning.

Jason Michael Encrapera, 36, who has ties to both York and Lancaster, will be charged with robbery, theft and receiving stolen property, West York Police said.

According to police, Encrapera walked to a register with a bottle of juice about 4 a.m. Sunday, then demanded money from a cashier. He fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Encrapera was taken into custody at 4:13 a.m. Thursday, police said.
