Westbound traffic on Route 30 will be slower than usual Monday and Tuesday.

Traffic westbound over the Route 30 bridge over the Susquehanna will be restricted to one lane between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. both days, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

Construction crews will place concrete barriers for the next phase of the two-year construction project on the bridge.

The $9.35 million project is being done by Swank Associated Co. of New Kensington, Pa., and is slated to be completed by the end of November, PennDOT said.
