A Spring Garden Township woman cut a man with a knife at a gas station early Friday morning, police said.

Township police responded to A-Plus Sunoco, 1300 Mount Rose Ave., for a report of a fight between a man and a woman at 11:12 a.m., according to police.

Officers found Vincent Barnes, 45, of the township with a knife laceration on his left hand, police said.

Police alleged the cut was caused by Takesha Barnes, 38, also of the township. Police did not say if Vincent Barnes and Takesha Barnes are related.

Takesha Barnes was arrested and taken to central booking for arraignment.

She is charged with two counts of aggravated assault and three counts of attempted simple assault and is free on $5,000 bail, according to online court documents.

Police continue to investigate the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt. Michael Grada at 843-0851 or through sgtpd.org.
