The York County Heritage Trust will hold closing activities on Saturday in honor of the closing of the exhibit, Front Porch to Front Lines: York County Goes to War.

The exhibit, on display at the Historical Society Museum, 250 E. Market St., features local stories of veterans of World War I, World War II, Vietnam and Korea.

Special admission rates will be featured, with 50 percent off admission for the day: adults $4, youth 8-18 $1.50, 7 and under free.

The Historical Society Museum will be open 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Activities include: 10 a.m.-noon: Free breakfast, Veteran View Point Finale and Front Porch to Front Lines Oral History, veterans will be present in the gallery to showcase the exhibit and talk about their personal experiences. Veterans and visitors alike will have the opportunity to record their own thoughts and experiences about the exhibit on camera, to help remember, preserve and commemorate the exhibit in the future.

Also, exhibit-related children's activities will be available through the day.
