The Achivement House Cyber Charter School has a new CEO at the helm for the next school year.

Last month the school's board of trustees named Don Asplen as the new leader, following the retirement of former CEO Timothy Daniels.

Asplen previously worked as the school's chief information officer. The cyber charter school is for students in grades 7-12 throughout Pennsylvania.

The school has a drop-in resource center located in York, which opened October 1 last fall.

The centers allow for students to voluntarily "drop in" for educational support as they take their online classes. Students have combinations of "live" classes they participate in online and independent sessions for homework assignments.

The York resource center is located at 225 E. Princess St.
