York Catholic and Susquehannock earned victories on Monday to set up a York-Adams Division II boys' tennis showdown.

The Fighting Irish downed Biglerville, 5-2, while Susquehannock beat Bermudian Springs, 7-0. York Catholic and Susquehannock remain tied for the division lead at 5-1, along with Delone Catholic, which blanked Littlestown on Monday, 7-0. York Catholic will travel to Susquehannock at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in a battle to stay in first.

In the Irish victory on Monday at Springettsbury Park, Matthew Koury won in singles and doubles to lead York Catholic. Sam Hernandez, Scott Bartkowiak and Tim Hartinger also won in singles for the Irish, who improved to 7-4 overall.

At York Springs, Shane Bookhultz and Paul Orndorff won in singles and doubles for the Warriors. Dan Ferraro, Austin Scott and Jake Shenk also won in singles. Susquehannock improved to 8-4 overall.


RED LION 6, DOVER 1: At Dover, Red Lion won every match but No. 1 doubles in the Division I clash. Sam Innerst, C.J. Weigle, Alex Gayrama, Chase McKnight and John Martin earned the singles points for the Lions. Innerst, McKnight and Martin all scored 6-0, 6-0 victories. The Lions' Jeremy Brokos and Josiah Austin then teamed to win No. 2 doubles, 8-0. Dover's Noah Wise and Jonathan Shaffer triumphed at No. 1 doubles, 8-5.


DALLASTOWN 7, WEST YORK 0: At West York, the Wildcats captured all five singles matches in straight sets. John Schmitt, Kyle Salaga, Payce Berridge, Nick Barley and Michael Gibbs each captured a singles victory. Dallastown improved to 6-0 in the division and 11-1 overall.

YORK SUBURBAN 7, HANOVER 0: At Suburban, the Trojans captured all five singles matches in straight sets, behind Michael Hogg, Elliot Diehl, Matthew Manzella, Michael Peck and Sam Atkinson. Suburban improved to 4-2 in York-Adams Division II and 7-4 overall.

SOUTH WESTERN 7, SPRING GROVE 0: At Spring Grove, the Mustangs captured all five singles matches in straight sets, paced by Michael Fabrick, Ben Sentz, Jordan Heavel, Ben Harrison and Brett Rudisill. South Western improved to 5-1 in York-Adams Division I and 8-2 overall.

CENTRAL YORK 6, NEW OXFORD 1: At Central, the Panthers received straight-set singles victories from Hunter Brown, Josh Strickler, Tyson Chen, Devin Lehigh and Chris Maderitz to capture the York-Adams Division I victory. Central improved to 6-0 in the division and 7-1 overall.
