Kennard-Dale knocked off York-Adams Division I leader Central York on Monday night in boys' lacrosse action.

The Rams jumped out to a 5-2 lead after the first quarter and led 8-4 at halftime en route to a 13-11 triumph.

The loss dropped Central into a first-place tie with Dallastown on top of Division I at 9-2. The Rams improved to 9-2 in Division II, good for second place behind West York (10-0).

Nate Mikolinis (five assists, goal), James Barlow (three goals, two assists), Freddy Seitz (three goals, assist), David Wallace (two goals), Jordan Rhodes (two goals) and Jesse Schonbrunner (two goals) paced the Rams' attack.

Central was led by C.J. Belker (four goals), Ian Desenberg (two goals, two assists), Max Haldeman (two goals, assist) and Colin George (goal, two assists).

Noah Ash made seven saves to get the win in goal, while Shane Walker has six saves for Central.


SUSQUEHANNOCK 6, NORTHERN 3: At Glen Rock, the Warriors led 5-3 entering the final quarter and went on to capture the non-league victory. Thomas Nace led the Warriors with two goals and one assist. Aiden Kirkendall and Zach Gloeckner each scored two goals for Susquehannock.


LOWER DAUPHIN 17, RED LION 11: At Red Lion, the Lions dropped a non-league encounter. Jenny Smith (four goals), Raquel Rich (three goals), Sierra Donovan (three assists), Jenn Yankowsky (two goals) and Emma Conrad (goal, assist) led Red Lion's attack. Marissa Linden made 21 saves in a losing cause.


YORK CATHOLIC 20, NEW OXFORD 2: At New Oxford, York Catholic's Lindsay Givens and Ashley Ingram combined for seven goals, and Emily Robbins supplied two goals and three assists for the Fighting Irish. Lindsey China, Alexis China, Megan Bittner and Jess Mazzur each had two goals for the winners, and Natalie Fiorenza furnished three assists. York Catholic improved to 9-2 in York-Adams Division II.
