The Central York boys' lacrosse team remained tied for first place in York-Adams Division I on Tuesday, but it was a struggle.

The Panthers outlasted a determined Red Lion outfit on its home field, 11-9, to improve to 10-2 both overall and in the division. Central stayed tied for the division lead with Dallastown, which routed South Western on Tuesday, 16-0.

C.J. Belker led the Panthers with three goals and two assists. Also for Central, Colin George scored three goals, Ian Desenberg had two goals and one assist and Max Haldeman added one goal and four assists.

For the Lions, Sam Sipe collected four goals and one assist, while Billy Walsh and Austin States each scored two goals. Hayden Jennings scored one goal and added one assist.


WEST YORK 21, EAST ERN YORK 11: At Wrightsville, Devyn Roehm led the Bulldogs with seven goals and one assist. Hunter Betz (four goals, four assists), Seth Clauser (six goals), Nick Wilker (two goals, two assists) and Austin Groff (one goal, one assist) also excelled for the 'Dogs. For the Golden Knights, Christian Buser (four goals, one assist), Conrad Rhein (one goal, three assists), Jon Witman (four goals) and Justin Keller (two goals) led the way. West York moved to 11-0 overall and in York-Adams Division II.

DALLASTOWN 16, SOUTH WESTERN 0: At Dallastown, Tanner Ierley scored five goals, and Jacob Mitchell supplied two goals and four assists for the Wildcats. David Dygert and Joe Didusch also had two goals. Dallastown goalie Jack Marks made three saves in earning the victory.


KENNARD-DALE 12, YORK SUBURBAN 7: At Suburban, the Rams improved to 10-2 overall and in York-Adams Division II. Freddy Seitz (three goals, assist), Jordan Rhodes (three goals), Freddy Seitz (three goals), Nate Mikolinis (two goals), Jesse Schonbrunner (two goals) and James Barlow (goal, assist) led K-D. Ian Size (four goals), Foster Hoyt (two goals, assist) and Anthony Bettencourt (two assists) paced Suburban. Noah Ash made eight saves to get the win in goal. Jon Sinkovitz had 10 saves for Suburban.

SUSQUEHANNOCK 9, YORK CATHOLIC 5: At York Catholic, Michael Mattes (three goals), Colin Riley (goal, two assists), Aiden Kirkendall (two goals) and Thomas Nace (goal, assist) led the Warriors. Tanner Yanick (three goals) and Will Casagrande (goal, assist) paced the Fighting Irish.


YORK CATHOLIC 20, SUSQUEHANNOCK 12: At Glen Rock, the Irish improved to 10-2 both overall and in York-Adams Division II. Jess Massur (four goals), Sarah Gabriele (three goals, assist), Alexis China (two goals, two assists), Lindsey Givens (three goals) and Natalie Fiorenza (two goals, assist) led York Catholic. Susquehannock was powered by Brooke Clasing (two goals, four assists), Abby Hagee (two goals, three assists) and Katelyn Welch (four goals).

KENNARD-DALE 22, YORK SUBURBAN 1: At Fawn Grove, Morgan Duty racked up six goals, and Nicole Black and Taylor Davis supplied four goals apiece to power the Rams. Lyndsey Duty delivered three goals and four assists, and Maggie Biedermann and Emily Livezey had two goals apiece for the winners. Black assisted on three goals. K-D improved to 13-1 overall and 12-0 in York-Adams Division II.

SOUTH WESTERN 16, DALLASTOWN 5: At Hanover, Jessica Kopenhaver led the Mustangs, scoring four goals and adding one assist. For the Wildcats, Alyson Meloni scored two goals and added one assist, while Kayla Thomas scored one goal and added one assist. South Western (12-1 overall) leads York-Adams Division I at 11-1.

SPRING GROVE 8, NEW OXFORD 2: At New Oxford, Shelby Grosberger led the Rockets with five goals. Emily Bankert scored two goals for the winners, while goalie Amanda Craver made 14 saves.

WEST YORK 20, EAST ERN 3: At West York, Sara Sweitzer led the Bulldogs, scoring six goals and picking up three assists. Allee Ilgenfritz scored five goals, while Tori Gohn scored three goals. West York improved to 9-3 in York-Adams Division II.
