ROUNDTOWN -- Central York's Ryan Moran recorded the lowest individual score, but Dallastown edged the Panthers by one stroke for first place in the team competition on opening day of the York-Adams League Division I golf season.

Dallastown's golfers required 411 strokes, and Central's golfers needed 412 strokes.

Moran shot an excellent 74 at Out Door Country Club to grab medalist honors.

Brandon Greenplate fired Dallastown's lowest score, a 77. Red Lion's Kevin Crumbling also shot a 77.

The other Wildcats' scorers were: John Bagnall (81), Andy Stewart (84), Kyle Williams (84) and Byron Markle (85).

Gus Minkin (82), Collin Potter (83), Mitch Marino (85) and Austin Pokopec (88) joined Moran on Central's list of scorers.

Two Spring Grove golfers, Eli Brooks and Luke Hoffnagle, tied South Western's Zach Swanner for fourth place in the individual competition with 80s. Red Lion teammates Dylan Reichard and Jake Linn finished with an 81 and an 83, respectively.
