Spring Grove swept both doubles matches to storm back for a 4-3 girls' tennis victory at Dallastown on Tuesday afternoon.

It was a rare York-Adams Division I loss for the Wildcats. Since 2000, Dallastown has compiled a 94-4 record in Division I matches. That includes 10 division titles.

Haley Staub and Emma Hoffnagle won at No. 1 doubles, 7-6, 6-4, while Michaela Taylor and Amanda Craver triumphed at No. 2 doubles, 6-3, 6-3.

Hoffnagle also won at No. 2 singles, while Taylor was victorious at No. 3 singles.

Dallastown got singles victories from Emily Kistler (No. 1), Christie Friedrich (No. 4) and Artika Saharan (No. 5). Saharan's win came in three sets.


YORK CATHOLIC 7, KENNARD-DALE 0: At Springettsbury Park, Sarah Koury, Catherine Vizzard, Kathryn Thomas and Carolyn Thomas each won in singles and doubles to spark the Irish. Maggie Javitt picked up York Catholic's other singles point.

WEST YORK 7, LIT TLESTOWN 0: At West York, Olivia Purtell, Gabby Amspacher, Allison Morningstar and Shayla Lutzinger won in singles and doubles to pace the Bulldogs. Lydia Fairlamb also earned a singles point for West York.

CENTRAL YORK 6, NEW OXFORD 1: At Central, Teah Gray and Taylor Strausbaugh each won in singles and teamed to win No. 2 doubles to pace the Panthers. Leah Chiaverini and Brooke Hartzell also earned singles points for Central.


DOVER 5, SOUTH WESTERN 2: At Hanover, the Eagles captured the match in doubles, with Mia Becker and Bri Crone combining to win the No. 1 match, while Emily Reimer and Faith Jackson combined to win the No. 2 match. The Eagles also received singles victories from Reimer, Jackson and Miranda Delauter.

YORK SUBURBAN 7, DELONE CATHOLIC 0: At Suburban, the Trojans received singles victories from Jessica Clancy, Erika Toman, Nneoma Amaechi, Nikki Spaulding and Sam Clancy to secure the win.

RED LION 5, NORTH EASTERN 2: At Red Lion, the Lions clinched the victory in singles, with Kate Jayamaha, Katelyn Witmer, Elizabeth Anderson and Alison Miller delivering the points. Anderson and Witmer later teamed to capture the No. 2 doubles match. Northeastern's Laura Zielinski triumphed at No. 1 singles and combined with Leah Wiley to take the No. 1 doubles match.
