Eastern York slipped past Delone Catholic 2-1 on Thursday in field hockey.

Rachel Deppen scored the final goal of the match late in the first half to break the 1-1 tie and give the visitors the lead for good. Eastern's Brianna Goodling scored a goal, while Kaitlynn Sollenberger picked up an assist.

The JV match ended in a 0-0 tie.


DALLASTOWN 5, SOUTH WESTERN 0: At Dallastown, Taylor Kline scored three goals, and Molly Childress added a goal and two assists for the Wildcats. Rachael Anstine also scored a goal, and Maggie Noll, Bryna Cook and Sawyer Eckenrode supplied assists. Dallastown held South Western without a single shot on goal. The Wildcats' JV team also tossed a shutout, winning 4-0.

RED LION 3, NEW OXFORD 1: At New Oxford, Ali Posey led the Lions to the York-Adams Division I victory by scoring a second-half goal and adding a second-half assist. Teammate Alyssa Castle also scored a second-half goal. All four goals scored in the game came in the second half.

CENTRAL YORK 7, SPRING GROVE 0: At Spring Grove, Greta Plappert had two goals to lead the Panthers. Sommer Danfelt, Magnus Timperio, Shae McKinney, Vanessa Repanshek and Alexis Young also scored for the winners. Paige Harrold and Young had assists. Central also won the JV match, 1-0.

NORTHEASTERN 5, DOVER 0: At Dover, Kirstin Pizzino and Carly Brenner each scored two goals to lead the Bobcats. Martha Carrol added Northeastern's other goal.


BERMUDIAN SPRINGS 5, KENNARD-DALE 1: At Fawn Grove, Katie Johnson and Nicki Wolf each had two goals to pace the Eagles. Julia D'Arrigo had K-D's goal. Abi Pietra had 15 saves for the Rams.

BIGLERVILLE 2, WEST YORK 0: At West York, Rachel Asper had a goal and assist for the Canners in the crossover match. After helping on Katie Camara's goal, Asper scored with help from Lena Whittoff.

HANOVER 2, YORK SUBURBAN 0: At Hanover, Morgan Herrick scored both goals to lead Hanover. Colleen Dommel had nine saves for Suburban.
