York City Little League

York City Little League has a new website -- wwwyorkcitylittleleague.org. Player registration is now open and can be completed through the new website. In-person registration will also be held from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday, Jan. 26, at United Way of York County, 800 E. King St. An in-person registration will also be held from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday, Feb. 2, at the Salvation Army, 50 E. King St.

Softball League

Registration packets for the 2013 Coors Light White Rose Softball League are now available for pick-up at York City Recreation and Parks Office, 101 S. George St., second floor, weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or at Mt. Rose Beer and Soda Mart. For information, call York City Recreation and Parks at 854-1587.

York Tech Openings

York County Tech has an immediate opening for a varsity assistant track coach. Experience in pole vault is desired, but will consider hurdle and high-jump experience. All state clearances and certifications must be within one year. Call the athletic director at 747-2147 if interested.

Central League Old-Timers

The Central League Old-Timers Association will meet on Tuesday, Jan. 22, at the VFW Post 556, 333 Eberts Lane, York, at 7 p.m. A guest speaker will make a presentation. Chicken wings will be provided. Anyone interested is invited to attend.

York Unity AAU


The York Unity AAU program is now accepting online registration for girls who are currently in the seventh grade who want to play travel basketball at the national level.
