York Suburban High School graduate Steve Hoffman has landed a new job in the NFL.

Last week, the Tennessee Titans announced that Hoffman would become the team's new assistant special teams coach. Hoffman will work under Tennessee head coach Mike Munchak, who is a Penn State graduate.

The 54-year-old Hoffman spent last season as the Oakland Raiders' special teams coordinator.

Hoffman has been a special teams assistant in the NFL since 1989, when he got a job with the Dallas Cowboys. He was with the Cowboys for 15 seasons. His kickers in Dallas established 15 team records and contributed to three Super Bowl titles.

Hoffman has also worked for the Atlanta Falcons (2006), the Miami Dolphins (2007, 2008) and the Kansas City Chiefs (2009-2011).

Last year, as the special teams coach for the Raiders, kicker Sebastian Janikowski posted the best field goal percentage of his career (91.2 percent, 31-for-34).
