The York-Adams League advanced three teams into the District 3 Girls' Volleyball Tournament semifinals on Tuesday.

Division I champion Susquehannock downed Warwick, 25-12, 25-22, 25-21, to move to the Class AAA semifinals.

The Division I runner-up, Central York, wasn't as fortunate, falling to Garden Spot in a five-game AAA thriller, 25-19, 25-18, 16-25, 18-25, 15-11.

In Class AA, meanwhile, both Delone Catholic and York Suburban moved to the semifinals. Delone swept York-Adams foe West York, 25-14, 25-23, 25-13. The Squirettes are fresh off winning York-Adams Division III and league tournament titles. Also in AA, Division II runner-up York Suburban rallied to down Trinity, 22-25, 25-15, 25-13, 26-24.

---In Susquehannock's win at Hempfield, Bethany Miller (20 digs), Abigail Bentz (19 assists, 13 kills, 13 digs), Kaila Glenn (11 kills) and Kelly Franz (17 assists, six digs) were the stat leaders for the Warriors. Susquehannock now faces Cumberland Valley at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Dallastown High School in a semifinal contest. Cumberland Valley downed Exeter on Tuesday, 25-19, 22-25, 25-18, 25-18.

---In Suburban's win at Lower Dauphin, the Trojans were paced by Kayla Gibbs (17 kills, 15 digs), Jordan Landis (23 digs), Maura Brehl (15 kills, nine digs, four blocks), Emily Miller (20 assists, 11 digs) and Mikala McBride (19 assists). Suburban's semifinal foe is Palmyra, with the match set for 6 p.m. Thursday at Wilson. Palmyra downed West Perry in its quarterfinal match on Tuesday, 25-21, 25-20, 25-18.


---In Delone's triumph at Central York, the unbeaten Squirettes were powered by Hannah Lawrence (20 digs), Cambria Wierman (10 kills, eight digs) and Katie Laughman (27 assists, five digs). The Bulldogs got big nights from Alexis Harbold (13 digs), Olivia Drawbaugh (12 digs, nine assists) and Shaina Robinett (15 digs, four kills). Delone now faces Berks Catholic in a semifinal battle, set for 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Wilson. Berks Catholic punched its ticket to the semifinals with a 25-16, 25-11, 25-20 win over Northern York on Tuesday.

---In Central's loss at Dallastown, Naya Cheatem (19 kills), Andrea Quartey (15 kills), Emily Poole (10 kills), Erin Dobbeck (30 assists), Taylor Krinock (10 assists) and Alexis Biesecker (seven digs) led the Panthers.
