Dover's Hoover pitches American Legion shutout: Grant Hoover pitched a four-hit shutout to lead Dover to a 5-0 York-Adams American Legion victory over visiting Pleasureville on Monday evening.

Hoover struck out six and walked one. Curtis Harman doubled for the winners. For Pleasureville, Tyler Wagner threw a complete-game four-hitter, striking out five and walking two. Kyle Shifflett doubled for Pleasureville. In the top of the second inning, Dover turned a triple play with two runners on to stop a rally. Both teams are now 3-1.

Northeastern's Brayton Bare pitched a five-hit shutout in Northeastern's 4-0 Legion victory over visiting Wrightsville on Monday.

Bare struck out three and walked two. Devin Blymire had three hits, including two doubles, for the winners, to go with three RBIs. Tom Skehan and Bare added two hits each. Bryce Billet had two hits for Wrightsville.
