The York Revolution front office has announced that it's has begun the search for its next season-long presenting partner.

York County Special Olympics is the team's presenting partner this season. Previous partners include Boy Scouts of America New Birth of Freedom Council in 2013, YMCA of York in 2012, York County Libraries in 2011 and the SPCA of York County in 2010, the first season the program was put in place. Each group has a one-season term as Revolution partner. Past presenting partners have raised as much as $100,000 from their season-long fundraising activities.

The presenting partnership has many facets which help the organization, beginning with the official logo, which combines the presenter's logo with that of the York Revolution. That mark is used by the Revolution as a primary logo on website, most publications and other materials throughout the season.

From there, the previous presenting partners have used various means to raise money, beginning with a marketing table at each of the 70 home games, which can be used to hand out literature, run contests, promote upcoming organizational events and sell souvenirs which relate to that particular group.

Other means of raising money include: Hosting non-baseball events at Santander Stadium while the team is on the road, the opportunity to sell in-stadium signage and luxury suites at the ballpark and auctioning special game-worn jerseys, the proceeds from which benefit the presenting partner. These jersey auctions are among the most popular events on the Revolution promotional calendar, as the sponsor will help the team design a special jersey with their theme, and they are worn and auctioned off during a game, then handed right to the winner post-game by the player who wore it.

“We've built a great program here, where we receive several inquiries throughout a season once people see how beneficial this partnership can be,” said Revolution Vice President for Business Development Nate Tile. “We would like all interested organizations to contact us, so we can arrive at the very best partner for the 2015 season. This is one of the hallmark ways our organization is able to give back to the community.”
