Eat, Drink and Be Scary First Friday events run from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, in downtown York. The District 3 Individual Golf Championships will take place Friday and Saturday at Briarwood Golf Club. The York-Adams League will be led by West York's Josh Rinehart, the three-time York-Adams champion.

All 22 York-Adams League football teams will take to the field this weekend, with nine games on Friday night and two more on Saturday afternoon. It's the first weekend of league action for Division I and Division II teams.
