The 68th annual Dover Fireman's Fair runs Saturday and Monday through Saturday, Sept. 7. Union Fire & Hose Co. No.1 hosts the event on its carnival ground just off East Canal Street in Dover.

Russ Amusements provides carnival rides and games on the midway. Home-cooked meals include nightly dinner specials served in the fire hall.

The entertainment schedule is:

* Saturday: Elvis tribute artist Jesse Garon and the Jesse Garon band perform two shows beginning at 7:15 p.m.

* Monday: Events begin at 1 p.m. with the fireman's water battle and rock music from PBR Monday evening.

* Tuesday: Borderline performs a mix of traditional and contemporary country with shows at 6:15 and 8 p.m.

* Wednesday: John McCall and the Whiskey River Band perform, 6:15 and 8 p.m.

* Thursday: Singer songwriter Chris Woodward and Shindiggin, 6:15 and 8 p.m.

* Friday, Sept. 6: Laredo performs at 7:15 and 9:15 p.m.

* Saturday, Sept. 7: country music legend Ronnie McDowell, two shows beginning at 7:15 p.m.
