York City will host its annual Light Up Night from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at Continental Square in downtown York. This year's celebration will feature children's activities, live musical and dance entertainment, a tree lighting ceremony, and more. Immediately following the tree lighting, Mayor Bracey will read "'Twas the Night Before Christmas." Santa Claus will make an appearance and be available for photos in Martin Library, 159 E.
