Main Street Hanover has launched a public art program in downtown Hanover and is asking the community for help in securing the re-purposed items needed for a sculpture.

Local artist Jeff Asper, of Tossed and Found Art, has been commissioned for the public sculpture, an infinity sign representing downtown Hanover's boundless potential, made of a metal frame with interior components consisting of re-purposed items from Hanover's agricultural and industrial roots.

Donations of these items are needed. To donate, call Asper at (717) 571-4491 or drop the items off at the Hanover Area Arts Guild, 32 Carlisle St. Donors will be recognized.
