Boutique Week

York City Boutique Week kicks off with a fall trends fashion luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, at Mudhook Brewing Co., 34 N. Cherry Lane, York. Merchant specials, pop-up shops and more will be going on through Sept. 6, with a First Friday Fashion Show hightlighting the week at 7 p.m. in Central Market. Tickets: $5. It's Fair time

The annual York Fair runs Friday, Sept. 5, through Sunday, Sept. 14, at the fairgrounds, 334 Carlisle Ave. Gates open at 11 a.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and at noon Monday through Thursday. The fair features rides, games, children's activities, farm animals, agricultural exhibits, live music, food, lumberjacks and more. The 10th Annual Gettysburg Wine & Music Festival celebrates the grape harvest from noon to 6 p.m. Sept. 6-7 at the Gateway Gettysburg Complex in Gettysburg. Animal Rescue Inc. will host the annual Dogs' Day in the Park and the Mutt Strutt on Saturday, Sept. 13, at Marge Goodfellow Park in New Freedom. Flashback to the '50s when "Grease" opens on stage at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, at York Little Theatre, 27 S. Belmont St., York. Roar of thunder

York celebrates its longtime association with Harley-Davidson with the Bike Night parade and festivities from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, in Continental Square and the White Rose Thunder motorcycle event Sept. 19-21 at the York Expo Center, 334 Carlisle Ave. Harley's annual open house, featuring test drives of new models and factory tours, will run Sept. 19-21 at the Springettsbury Township plant.
