The York Revolution's 2013 schedule has been released.

The Revs, under the direction of new manager Mark Mason, will begin their 2013 campaign at home for the third time in four seasons. York's opener is set for Sovereign Bank Stadium on Thursday, April 18, against the Bridgeport Bluefish at 6:30 p.m. It's the first game in a four-game series. The Atlantic League regular season will begin and end a week earlier than in prior seasons.

York has reached the Atlantic League playoffs in four of its first six seasons of existence, including the last three. Mason takes over for Andy Etchebarren, who led the Revs to Atlantic League titles in 2010 and 2011. Etchebarren retired at the end of the 2012 season.

The "War of The Roses" rivalry will be rekindled for the first time from May 10-12, when York visits the Lancaster Barnstormers at Clipper Magazine Stadium. The cross-river rivals have met in the divisional round of the postseason the previous two years, with each club taking a series. A season ago, York and Lancaster played to a 10-10 tie in the regular-season series, and each won a split-season division crown.

Lancaster's first visit to York will be from May 17-20. The next meeting will be from June 28-30 in Lancaster, before shifting back to York from July 5-7. The weekend of Aug. 9-11, Lancaster will visit York for four games, including a day-night separate-admission doubleheader at Sovereign Bank Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 10. The "War of The Roses" will conclude in Lancaster from Aug. 23-25.

The Revs' longest continuous home-stand will be their second of the season, when they host Camden, Long Island and Somerset in 10 games from April 30 through May 9. Their longest continuous road trip will be between June 24 and July 4, when they travel to Sugar Land, Lancaster and Bridgeport.

The first half of the season will end on June 30 at Lancaster, after 70 games have been played. The second half of the season will begin on July 2 in Bridgeport. The Atlantic League All-Star Game will be Wednesday, July 10, at Regency Furniture Stadium in Southern Maryland.

The Atlantic League Divisional Playoffs will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 18, and the Atlantic League Championship Series will begin a week later on Sept. 25. All series will be best-of-five. Should the championship series go the full five games, the final scheduled day of the Atlantic League season is Sunday, Sept. 29.

Once again, the standard home-game times at Sovereign Bank Stadium will be 6:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 1 p.m. or 5 p.m. on Sunday. The exceptions are three day games to be played Monday, April 22, vs. Southern Maryland and Monday, May 6, vs. Somerset (Baseball in Education) and Wednesday, July 31, vs. Camden (Camp Day). Game times for all home games will be made official shortly. The Revolution's spring training schedule will also be announced at a later date.
