Zack Segovia took a three-hit shutout into the ninth inning and the York Revolution closed out the home portion of the 2013 schedule with a 2-1 victory over the Bridgeport Bluefish on Monday evening at Sovereign Bank Stadium.

Having finished the seventh season of Revolution baseball in York, the Revs will travel to Sugar Land to open a six-game series to close out the season beginning on Tuesday night.

Segovia (3-5) allowed one run on five hits in eight-plus innings, walking two and striking out 10. Of his 24 outs, 10 came on strikeouts, 12 on groundouts and just two on fly balls. The righty threw 121 pitches, 80 for strikes.

The Revs jumped to a 2-0 lead in the first inning on a home run to left-center by Chad Tracy, his seventh of the year.

Bridgeport threatened in the ninth inning when Luis Lopez led off with a single to center and Alexis Gomez doubled to left-center, landing runners at second and third with no outs. Revs' manager Mark Mason then called on closer Michael Wuertz, who struck out Prentice Redman for the first out. After a walk to James Simmons loaded the bases, Wuertz retired Eddie Rogers on a fielder's choice that drove in Lopez. Wuertz then retired Luis Rodriguez on a fly ball to right, securing his fifth save.

Bridgeport starter Keith Bilodeau (1-4) suffered the complete-game loss, working eight innings and allowing only six hits.
